About Ilya

I'm Ilya, a video editor based in the Atlanta area, working with clients everywhere. I have spent roughly a decade across media production, education, and program leadership, and the common thread is simple: help people understand something and feel it.

I earned a BS in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, then spent two and a half years as the staff editor at Gotham Trinity Productions in Staten Island, New York, cutting client work and the studio's own reel. Since 2023 I have edited independently for brands, schools, and organizations.

I also design eLearning, so I edit with the viewer's attention in mind. Every cut has to earn the next second.

Straight answers

How much does video editing cost?

Projects start at $500. Your final quote depends on the length of the finished video, how much footage there is, how complex the edit is (graphics, color, sound), and how fast you need it. Send a few details through the form and I will reply with a clear price.

How long does an edit take?

It depends on length, footage, and complexity. Every quote includes a delivery date for the first cut and the final, built around your deadline.

How many revisions are included?

Revisions are part of every project, and your quote spells out exactly how many rounds are included so there are no surprises.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. I edit remotely for clients anywhere, and I work on-site across the Greater Atlanta Area, including Gwinnett County.

What do I need to send you?

Your footage through Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer, a short brief (goal, audience, length, deadline), your brand assets like logos and fonts, and any music you want used.

What software do you edit in?

Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, DaVinci Resolve for color and editing, plus Photoshop and Canva for graphics.

Can you also shoot the footage?

I have worked as a videographer as well as an editor and shoot on Sony cameras. Tell me about your shoot and I will let you know if it is a fit.

Do you build eLearning courses too?

Yes. Alongside video, I design and build eLearning modules: scenario-based courses where learners make decisions and see the consequences, built in Articulate Storyline 360 or as AI-assisted web simulations and packaged for your LMS. You can try two sample courses in the eLearning folder.

Are you open to full-time or contract roles?
